This international symposium, organized by Jackson State University since 1992, covers all areas of computational chemistry as well as quantum chemistry.
The format consists of a series of (invited) plenary lectures and poster presentations on Friday and Saturday covering applications as well as theory.
Southern School in Computational Chemistry
The Southern School on Computational Chemistry is organized together by the members of the NSF-EPSCOR Computational Chemistry Cluster, NSF-CREST Computational Center for Molecular Structure and Interactions, and the Army High Performance Computing Research Center.
Summer Institute
The Computational Center for Molecular Structure and Interactions (CCMSI) at Jackson State University offers a summer institute during June 6, 2004 – July 31, 2004. This program is open to all graduate and undergraduate students interested in Computational Chemistry. The objective of the Institute is to teach students quantum and computational chemistry as well as general research skills. Institute's participants will also engage in research projects with the CCMSI faculty. All faculty members are involved in the training
program during the Summer Institute.
